why get married?

To some people, getting married is such a huge waste of time and money. I think that getting married is a great way to show how much you love someone but i do think it is not the only way, and getting married can be very expensive. I also think it can be a big hassle and bring up a lot of stress between you and your family/friends because there is a lot of planning involved for it to be a good wedding. Having a wedding has no effect on the title you get when you become a married couple, you don't even need to have a wedding, you will still be just married. It all depends on how you and your boyfriend/girlfriend feel about the whole thing and decide for your selves whether you want to celebrate your marriage or not. When the time comes, you will know what you want to happen, but it could change things for better or for worse.
